Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Save me some turkey!

3 months.. wow.. it has now been 3 months! That is just crazy.

I come home a month from today!

I left 2 months ago today.
What?
That sounds like a really long time.
Sometimes it feels like it, sometimes it doesn't.

So today, I impusivly decided to cut my hair.
I got layers.
I always do that.

Everyone said it was really cute. I like it enough but like i don't love it. gah why do i do these things?

Then,
this girl ive been flirting with for the last month who works at our coffee bar.. I kind of asked her out and she flat out rejected me - like she was really mean about it. at least she could have been nice. now im like totally depressed. gah i hate girls.

great start to my birthday week/end.

Wow, I'm going to be so fat.
Today I ate:

2 chocolate pastries
1 gelato
2 cappuccini
1 panino with melted cheese

and I'm still going to have dinner, which is 3 courses.
and I eat pretty much exactly this everyday.
I miss the gym.

No more cookies for you.

I love Rome. I love Paris. I love art and history and language.

But, I love playing music most of all.

It has been over 3 weeks since I played a violin. Longest ever.
I'm having a hard time with that.

I miss it so much.

The director of the program's assistant is looking into one for me to rent. She's from here. But that won't happen for a few more weeks yet because she is trying to get us all legal stay permits.

And with celtic fest this weekend - I want to play.
Part of me just wants to come home before I get fat off of gelato.

When I was in Ireland for the fleadh 5 years ago all I wanted to do was scout out french tourists.
Now, all I want to do is listen to Irish Music. Hmmmm...interesting....
I guess you want what you can't have? Or my intrests are shifting... or both...

Maybe it's a just a bad day..

So we leave for the airport in 4 and 1/2 hours and I fly out in 8 and 1/2. I hate airports. But I love flying. I'm really excited, we found where my family lives and it's by San Giovanni in Laterno, close to the Colosseo and the Forum - Ancient Rome! I'm less than a mile from the Colosseum, I could walk it! I'm getting excited!

Milwaukee was fun, we played really well I thought. And we got a great reception which is always nice. I will miss you all. Send me stuff!

Today was pretty fun.
I took the el and the commuter train to Western Springs to see my friend Sarah. We went to Oak Brook and ate at California Pizza Kitchen. It was really good. I'd never been there before. Then we went to Nordstroms and I got the cutest shoes for Rome. I needed shoes that would be durable and supporting without looking like running shoes. So I got some Pumas.

Then I went to work and it was so dead. Stasia, my co-worker, and I stole each other's cameras and went around taking crazy pictures of stuff. I dressed up in clothes from the store and she made a little video about my addiction to Penguin bars. GT's GT's! (Good Times - Stasia-ism)

And now I'm home. I liked being payed to do shit like that - I mean it is july and so hot people aren't out shopping. When I was out - it was so humid, my glasses fogged up. EEk!

I don't know if I can do this contacts thing. I tried to put them in this morning and it hurt too much. I'm disappointed because I can't see as well with them.

What can I do?

I leave 3 weeks from today. I'm not ready in so many ways.

I'm actually really dissappointed that the session was cancelled. I had people coming :(

There are only four weekends (five including Milwaukee) until I leave. It went by so fast!! I fly out in the evening the monday after Milwaukee, the 21st of August.

I've got to start running again and working out. I've been so bad. I miss the gym at school.

EDIT: I just found out I got a new cousin today. My parents forgot to tell me until a few weeks ago that she was even on the way. Her name is probably going to be Kate, but we don't know. My uncle and amy (not my aunt) live in Wisconsin. I really want to meet my new cousin. The sad thing is that this new baby girl, a precious new life, was born addicted to methadone. At least it wasn't heroine - which it would have been if it weren't for the methadone. But methadone detox is very bad for an infant apparently. This makes me so mad, that someone could do this to a new life, be so irresponsible. I wish I could just take this baby and care for her and give her a good life with my parents.

It's the annual sidewalk sale at my job. I've worked 14 hours for it in the last two days - just one more 6 hour shift to go.

I found an iTunes gift certificate in my room so I bought the soundtrack to Pirates 2. If anyone wants a copy give me a holler. It also came with this little picture thing which has some good shots. A "Digital Booklet"...

I am currently on Montrin and Hydracodine. I now finally am almost pain free - because I have both. Just the Hydracodine wasn't enough, but it makes me nautious. Gah this is not fun. But right now I'm feeling better thanks to the drugs. Hopefully I'll be better soon. I'm not swollen at all which is nice. But just touching the bottom right part of my jaw hurts. I go back a week from tomorrow to get the stiches out. Well, it needed to be done and I'm glad it is. Send me love :D
